Mark Amerika (
amerika@altx.com) is the author of many books including the novels
Sexual Blood (1995) and
The Kafka Chronicles (1993). In 1993, he started The Alt-X Online Publishing Network (
http://www.altx.com). In June of 1997 he launched the highly-acclaimed GRAMMATRON hypermedia narrative project (
http://www.grammatron.com). He has recently presented and exhibited his online art projects in many venues including the Ars Electronica Festival, the International Symposium of Electronic Art, SIGGRAPH 98, Virtual Worlds 98, and the Adelaide Arts Festival in Australia.
