Rendon is a writer whose articles, poems, and short stories have appeared in magazines and newspapers nationwide. She has also served as a counselor and consultant to a broad range of community organizations, including Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women and Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center, as well as Native communities throughout the United States and Canada.
