G.H. Hovagimyan is a cross-media and digital artist. He is one of the core members of artnetweb an experimental artists website. In 1997 he organized two Cu See Me + RealAudio web jams for the Port-MIT exhibition at the List visual Arts Center, MIT, Boston, MA. His netcast talk show "Art Dirt" that ran from 1995-1998 on Pseudo programs has been acquired by the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis as part of their digital arts study archive. He now hosts a Real Video talk show called "Collider" that is streamed from The Thing website in New York. He has four projects on the World Wide Web including his homepage and his work has been featured in the Art Press (France) special edition #19 titled "Techno anatomie des cultures Electronique." His recent collaborative work, A SoaPOPera for Laptops, with Peter Sinclair won an honorable mention at Ars Electronica '98 and is part of a major exhibition at the Musee D'art Contemporain in Lyon, France titled,
Sound Artists of North America. He is a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York city and a visiting artist/ professor at the Ecole D'art D'aix-en-Provence in France.
