During his five-week venture in Japan, Walker Art Center Visual Arts Curator Philippe Vergne digitally communicated his impressions about the sights, signs, and sounds of Tokyo and beyond. This hyperessay is based on Vergne's 1998 trip to research many of the artists in the exhibition Let's Entertain. The essay includes Vergne's interpretive transmissions from his singular point of view, with video, sound, and text files plus a multitude of images that will take you to the other side of the world. The site was designed by Louis Mazza.
